- Complete MSC “Application for Summer Study Abroad Program.” Deadline: If applying for a MSC Foundation scholarship, this application is due at the same time (Monday, November 17th; see #2 below). Otherwise, this is due at the same time (and preferably before) as the program-specific application (see #3 below). It is important that students contact the MSC European Council representative (Dr. David Biek) prior to applying. All application materials and the deposit need to be submitted to Dr. Biek (with the exception of the scholarship application).
- If the student wants to be considered for a scholarship, complete Macon State College Foundation “Study Abroad Scholarship Application” by Monday, November 17th. This gets returned to the MSC Foundation office (room A-217).
- Complete the London application. The deadline for the Summer Study Abroad programs is Friday, March 6th, 2009.
- Financial Aid consideration – Here is the language from the program websites: “Courses in the 2009 Summer Study Abroad Programs are part of the regular course offerings of member institutions; therefore, students may apply for loans or grants for which they would normally be eligible.” MSC students should contact the Office of Financial Aid for information about available aid and their eligibility for aid. Note that students may also be able to take a Maymester class prior to departure.
